Why RollTech

Engineering-led guides that cut downtime and scrap

A guide is a wear-critical part: when it fails, the line stops and product goes off-gauge. We combine reverse engineering, proven wear materials and precision machining so your stands run longer between changes, with fewer cobbles.

Drawing-to-part

Reverse engineering & DFM

From a worn sample, drawing or photo we remodel the guide in 3D, check fit and clearance, and confirm a manufacturable design before any steel is cut.

Wear materials

Materials matched to the stand

Carbide, H13, Cr12MoV, 20CrMnTi and hardfacing selected for your temperature, rolling speed and product size — not a one-size-fits-all catalogue part.

Quality

Inspected & fully traceable

Dimensional reports, hardness checks and mill test certificates accompany every batch. Guides are serialised for end-to-end traceability.

Product Range

Guides for every stand in the line

Roughing, intermediate and finishing stands for wire rod, rebar, sections and rail. Standard sizes in stock, custom geometries built to order.

Applications

Where our guides run

Wire Rod Mills

High-speed entry and exit guides through roughing, intermediate and finishing blocks, including no-twist and twist-pipe arrangements.

Rebar & Bar Mills

Slitting and sizing guides that keep bar straight, on-gauge and free of surface defects at line speed.

Section & Beam Mills

Robust static and roller guides for H-beam, channel and angle passes on heavy stands.

Rail & Special Profiles

Custom guide geometries for rail, tube and special profiles where catalogue parts will not fit.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first

What is your minimum order quantity?

Typically 5–20 pieces per guide type, depending on size and tooling. Trial orders of a single piece are accepted so you can validate fit and wear life before scaling up.

Can you manufacture from a worn sample or drawing?

Yes. Send a sample, a photo with key dimensions or a 2D/3D drawing and we will remodel the part, confirm fit and quotation. Our engineers can also work from your stand drawing.

What is the lead time?

15–25 working days for standard guides, and 30–40 days where new tooling or special materials are required. Air and express options are available for urgent shutdown parts.

Do you supply OEM / private-label parts?

Yes. We manufacture under your brand and part numbers, with your labelling and packaging. We can also match and interchange existing OEM part numbers.

What documents come with the goods?

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, dimensional inspection report, hardness report and mill test certificates for the steel used.

Which payment and shipping terms do you accept?

T/T and L/C at sight are standard; other terms by agreement. We ship FOB, CIF and DDP by sea, and by air or express for urgent spares.
